The project involves the complete renovation of a 60 m² apartment located in the residential neighborhood of Monteverde, Rome. The intervention aims to enhance the strong connection between the interior and exterior, given the presence of a large perimeter private garden surrounding the home.
The apartment is developed entirely on a single level and opens toward the garden through large floor-to-ceiling windows, amplifying the sense of space and fostering visual and material continuity between the inside and outside. Natural light becomes a key compositional element, helping to define a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The design concept is based on a modern and clean language, characterized by warm tones, natural materials, and essential finishes. The interior spaces have been rethought to maximize functionality and flow, with an open and bright living area that directly overlooks the greenery.
In parallel, a landscape project for the garden was developed, conceived as a habitable extension of the home. The vegetation, predominantly made up of tropical species, was carefully selected and arranged to create natural barriers that ensure privacy and intimacy while maintaining a sense of openness and lightness.
The result is a contemporary home where architecture and nature are in balanced dialogue, offering a private, harmonious living experience deeply connected to the green surroundings of Monteverde.
