THE STUDIO
The studio is dedicated to the architectural design of space, understood as a place of balance between functionality and the aesthetic atmosphere of environments, combining the importance of materials and design choices with the needs of those who inhabit them.
The quality of living lies at the heart of Valerio’s research path, which develops from the scale of outdoor space to the detail of interiors, with particular attention to the use of color, lighting, and finishes. The goal of each project is to intervene in space by considering both its identity and the needs of its future inhabitants, giving it uniqueness and enhancing its pre-existing functional and aesthetic architectural elements.
His projects evolve through a dialogue between old and new, between pre-existence and contemporary language, between natural and cultural identity. Continuous research into finishes and materials, combined with attention to detail, characterizes the studio’s working method.
Valerio favors the use of “natural” materials, capable of evolving over time and maturing in harmony with the structure that hosts them.

VALERIO STOPPONI
FOUNDER
Born in Rome in 1986, he graduated with honors in 2011 in Architecture (five-year program) at La Sapienza University of Rome.
From 2012 to 2018 he worked in Argentina and Colombia, where he was able to experiment with a new vision of architectural design in relation to different cultural and environmental contexts, and began to develop an interest in outdoor space design and landscape architecture.
Upon his return to Rome in 2018, he opened his own studio focused on interior design and simultaneously began an active collaboration with landscape architect Marta Fegiz, with whom he developed numerous projects for private and public gardens and outdoor spaces.
He has won several architecture competitions, including the pedestrian redevelopment of the Olympic Village in Rome (currently under construction), and has completed numerous projects involving interior renovations, outdoor spaces, and new constructions both in Italy and abroad.
